Blind Artist Vision: blog by Stella De Genova
The holiday season is upon us. And I am trying to stay on task every day with lists for baking and dinners, coming up with gift ideas and decorating. The creative juices have shifted from my artwork to how to make annual holidays feel fresh and special.
But I have not forgotten my art. In fact, even though I can’t seem to find a minute to work on a painting, it’s always on my mind and I can’t wait until I can take a breath and sit with my pastels again. I’ve been reading about what inspired Georgia O’Keeffe and I am delving into what inspires me. Is it a musical piece, my memory of color, an emotion, or an image or photo that moves me? Through the years, it has been all of these things in one way or another.
During this busy season and beyond, I will take the time for some self-discovery It’s never too late to learn something new about yourself. As we embrace our family traditions that we’ve enjoyed all of our lives and which mean so much to us, let’s also find new and exciting plans, projects and connections to enrich our lives in the coming year.

Season’s Greetings to one and all and let’s all put the effort in for a new year full of peace, love, and understanding. Our world depends on us!

Stella, I'm a huge fan of your art, your blog, and YOU! This is a busy time of year, so please make time for yourself!
